It is not unusual to feel emotional stress during pregnancy
Emotional stress can happen to any mother – it is not your fault. You are not alone if you have been experiencing stress since you became pregnant.
What does this mean?
Some mothers feel troubled and guilty for feeling unhappy during their pregnancy. Getting help will make you feel better, and there is a lot of support on offer.
Experiencing emotional lows is commonly associated with pregnancy due to hormonal changes in your body.
What should I do?
Talking about your feelings and troubles with trusted health workers, family, friends or community members can help you feel better about your situation. If you continue to feel emotionally drained, draw this to the attention of your clinic sister.
